Meet The Team

Walker Abney, CFP®

Walker Abney is the co-founder of Tilia Fiduciary Partners. Walker’s core duties include investment research and portfolio management, as well as advising clients on investment planning. Walker holds a M.S. in Finance & Investment Management from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a B.S.B.A. in Finance & Banking from Appalachian State University. He earned the Certified Financial Planner™ designation in 2009. Prior to Tilia, Walker guided clients as a Financial Advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors.

Walker is a believer in “brilliant simplicity” when it comes to investing. He advocates for empowering our clientele via ongoing education, keeping investment costs as low as possible, and direct investment ownership rather than outsourced “pooled investment vehicles.” He strongly believes investments that are complex, opaque, and high-cost have no place in most investors’ portfolios.

A resident of Wilmington, NC since 2006, Walker has three young boys that occupy most of his free time these days. Walker is heavily involved in several local non-profit organizations, and is the former President of the Board of Trustees for the Historic Wilmington Foundation.

Ryan Casey, CFP®, CEPA

Ryan is a zero-sales commission investment advisor and co-owner of Tilia Fiduciary Partners, Inc.  He primarily serves tax-conscious retirees and small business owners with maximizing their eventual business sale proceeds.  In addition to serving on Tilia’s Investment Policy Committee, Ryan is responsible for cultivating a team culture committed to clients’ financial success.

Previously, Ryan worked as a research associate for healthcare investment bank before joining the Marine Corps. As a Captain with a “Light Attack” helicopter squadron, he flew combat missions overseas. He holds the Certified Financial Planner^™ and Certified Exit Planning Advisor designations as well as Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Ryan is active with a number of civic and nonprofit organizations, and is a founding member of the Veteran Business Collective. He is also an alumnus of the Chamber of Commerce’s “Leadership Wilmington” program. Ryan, his wife Kristi and their two children love living in the Port City and enjoy exploring everything it has to offer.

Alexis Eubanks, CES™

Alexandria Eubanks, known to family and friends as Alexis, joined Tilia Fiduciary Partners as an Assistant Operations Manager in 2021. Prior to joining the team, she started her career in retail banking where she gained valuable experience and knowledge of the financial world.

Originally from Asheville, NC, Alexis moved to Wilmington to attend University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2016 and in May of 2018 she graduated with her degree in Mathematics. During her time at UNCW Alexis found that she enjoys all aspects of this beautiful city and is happy to call it home.

Alexis Delia, CRPS®

Alexis joined Tilia Fiduciary Partners in 2023 after earning her B.A. in Integrated Marketing Communication, with minors in Entrepreneurship and Nonprofit Management from the University of North Carolina – Wilmington. She is pursuing her Certified Financial Planner™ designation and aims to help clients plan for both everyday moments and major life events. As a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist™ (CRPS®), Alexis is certified in designing and managing retirement plans for businesses. She values building strong client relationships and brings commitment, accountability, and enthusiasm to her work.

Previously, Alexis worked in the Publishing industry bringing popular nonfiction titles to bookstores around the country. She is an avid reader and is passionate about continued education, mentorship, and making a positive difference in people’s lives. She has worked with several local nonprofits including the Miracle League of Wilmington, Rise Up Community Farm, Nourish NC, and more.

Alexis was born in Newport Beach, CA but grew up traveling the United States before landing in Wilmington to attend university. After falling in love with the southern charm of the Carolina coast, she decided to make Wilmington home, and enjoys engaging with her community and exploring the Port City.

Trenton Shady

Trenton Shady serves clients as an Operations & Investment Research Associate. He earned his B.S. at the University of North Carolina Wilmington with concentrations in Finance & Entrepreneurship. Prior to joining Tilia he enjoyed working for, and learning from, a variety of small businesses.

Trenton fell in love with coastal Wilmington during college and has decided to stay to begin his career here. Now, you may often find him reading a book on the beach, training martial arts, or attending local community events. He has a passion for learning and firmly believes that there is always a lesson to be learned in everything you do.

Trinity Chandler

Trinity Chandler, an Operations Associate, joined the Tilia team in 2025. A graduate of NC State University, Trinity holds a B.A. in Design Studies with a concentration in Business Administration. Her diverse background includes experience in the restaurant and small business sectors, ultimately leading her to the coastal city of Wilmington.

Trinity’s commitment to personal and professional growth is evident in her passion for learning and self-improvement. An avid reader and talented artist, she is also actively expanding her financial expertise. Trinity is excited to leverage her skills and interests to serve the community with Tilia Fiduciary Partners.
