Tom Favor

As an Investment Advisor at Tilia Fiduciary Partners, Tom supports clients as a member of our advisory team and contributes to the firm’s investment management committee. Drawing on over two decades of leadership and service as a U.S. Marine Corps officer, Tom brings discipline, integrity, and a mission-driven approach to helping clients achieve lasting financial security. He is currently pursuing his Certified Financial Planner™ designation, further deepening his commitment to providing thoughtful, informed guidance to the individuals, families, and veterans he serves.

Tom’s military career spanned more than 20 years and took him around the globe, where he held a variety of leadership and operational roles. His service was defined by dedication, strategic thinking, and an unwavering focus on mission success — values that continue to shape his approach to financial advising today.

After retiring from active duty, Tom spent nine years with the Federal Aviation Administration, where he honed his analytical skills and developed a deep appreciation for process, precision, and accountability. His transition to the financial services industry was a natural extension of his lifelong commitment to service — helping clients navigate complex challenges with clarity and confidence.
A proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Tom was eager to return to the coastal community that first captured his heart. He now enjoys life in Wilmington with his wife, Mira, and their son, Daniel, embracing the same sense of purpose and balance he strives to foster in his clients’ financial lives.
